SOE Clubs
SOE in your neck of the woods
SOE clubs were created to come along side existing chapters, clubs and organizations and add the distinct leadership focus to educate the IPOD generation to be great leaders in their homes and communities and the outdoors.
For some youth, this a chance to participate in an SOE Club in elementary, middle or high school is their first venture into the world of becoming a leader and the need for conservation and service. Being part of a club can give them vital social skills and lessons such as integrity, character, teamwork and leadership. It teaches them the importance of becoming a model leader in their homes, communities and the outdoors.
SOE clubs are designed to be a stand-alone club or one can use the existing resources to strengthen or add to their own club, huddle or chapter. This is the opportunity to introduce them to a club where they can have fun and at the same time learn and serve. Students can learn about the mission of the Student Outdoor Experience, how to be prepared as a leader, how to be a conservationist and how to lead in preserving our heritage.
As young volunteers Student Outdoor Experience provides its club members with avenues to have fun, develop incredible life skills and make a significant difference!
